PLAN will prioritize organizational structures that support individual autonomy while acting in ways that honor our interdependence. We will support groups and individuals in making their own informed decisions by decentralizing information, power, and resources.
Line 3 Legal Defense Fund
The Line 3 Legal Defense Fund will exclusively support those arrested and prosecuted in the fight against Enbridge's Line 3 pipeline expansion. Decisions to disperse funds are made democratically by water protectors and allies in this fight, working closely with indigenous leaders on the front lines.
RISE - Resilient Indigenous Sisters Engaging Coalition
Co-founding Sisters: Debra Topping, Nancy Beaulieu, Anna Yliniemi, & Dawn Goodwin
These four Women were brought together through their passion to protect the balance of the four sacred elements - the nibi, aki, noodin, & ishkode.
The sisters in RISE Coalition met one another during the Line 3 Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MNPUC) public commentary hearings, where Debra Topping of Nagachiwanong (Fond du lac) took note of the positive qualities of each of her new found sisters.
Actions happen daily in Fond Du Lac. Find your Warrior spirit and join the Frontlines. If you are able to stay we have space for you, make sure you dress accordingly for freezing temps.
